Prefer cash for in-person transactions. If paying online, use a method you trust. Never send money in advance for an item you haven't seen.
Watch out for scams
If a deal looks too good to be true, it probably is. Be wary of sellers who insist on unusual payment methods, pressure you to act fast, or refuse to meet in person.
Inspect before you pay
Always inspect the item thoroughly before handing over any money. Test electronics, check documents for vehicles, and verify condition against the listing photos.
Protect your personal details
Don't share your home address, financial information, or ID documents with strangers. Use the in-app WhatsApp/Telegram links — do not share your number publicly.
